I was perusing the LL Bean site looking for great deals on quality footwear and came across what is, perhaps, the strangest product review I’ve ever read. I really don’t know what to make of it but can’t help but imagine it’s some (not very) subtle message to someone in the reviewer’s life. The larger and more interesting question is why they felt that the LL Bean product reviews space was the perfect place in which to broadcast this message. Was this THE place they were sure their intended audience would find their thoughts? Mind you, all the other reviews of the boots run along the lines of “By golly they weren’t kidding when they said these boots run big!” and “I used to have the short ones, but splurged on these taller ones. So glad I did!”
